Me and my son took the class. It was very insightful, with a lot of hands on exercises at the right level. Since I had some background on basic photography and my son did not, my feel is that we ended at the same level of skills at the end since we were shooting in Manual mode and for me it was a first.

Rodrigo was a very knowledgable and friendly instructor and provided us with a very patient and accomodating model. I learnt some great tips and especially liked the demonstrations Rodrigo did for the group - this really pushed my shots to the next level.

Sean is an utterly brilliant teacher! I came to the course with a camera I had borrowed, with little knowledge of how to use and no knowledge about photography apart from point and shoot and hope for the best. At the beginning I was feeling anxious and nervous about my lack of skills but within a very short space of time Sean made me feel relaxed and raised my confidence that I can do this! He has this great knack for inspiring you and gently pushing you to try new things whilst supporting your learning with where you are currently at on your photography journey. I love the way that Sean talks to you and not at you and shares his immense knowledge in such an easy to understand way, a true teacher! I felt I could ask any question and know he would give me another piece of the puzzle that I could easily understand and build my knowledge. You couldn’t help but get caught up with Sean’s passion and enthusiasm for photography. By the end of the lesson I was amazed within such a short space of time what I was able to achieve with Sean’s teaching and support.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself and learnt soooo much. Also tried new techniques that I would not otherwise have attempted. Sean is an excellent instructor - clear, patient, calm, encouraging and with lots of practical tips and suggestions to improve our photography. Many thanks to Rodrigo and his model assistant for a wonderful morning. As a 73yr old and 60 years of trying to take photos, I enjoyed the relaxed friendly atmosphere and was able to learn new ways to improve my enjoyment of taking photographs. Rodrigo was very generous with offering us the use of his equipment.

I really enjoy Scott's classes. I always feel inspired to get out take photos and work with them. I got many tips and knowledge of when to use certain tools. Scott is excellent at conveying ideas and has such a willingness to share. His photos are amazing. I hope I can reach his level one day. Afterwardss, I played with some of my landscape photos using his suggestions and tips.

Warren was great - informative and gave a good few tips on long exposure. Difficult to critique the session as it was my first one so dont know how these are supposed to operate bit the group became quite spread out so was difficult.for Warren to get round everyone. That said, we covered night shots, light trials and water reflections in a 2 hour period so enjoyed it and will book up another session in the New Year

Thank You so much to BM Photographers and Sean who lead our Meetup. I had a wonderful time and learnt so much - and made some great photos of the mist and cloud swirling around. Sean was respectful and encouraging and so generous with his knowledge and time. We got rained out half way through so we retreated to a coffee shop where we viewed our photos on Sean's laptop and got some great feedback from Sean. It was also great to see photos from the other participants to compare and contrast what each of us had captured and get feedback from one another as well as Sean.

Sean was really great at explaining a lot of technical stuff and help us with our camera settings. He went above and beyond expectations when it began to rain we sat down in a coffee shop and he critiqued our photos and gave us very helpful tips.
